Today I tell you the tricks to crack competitive exams. First of all we have to understand that no paper is made tough. Each paper is made easy and can be cracked with good strategy and planning. Here I will tell u how to make strategy to crack any exam.
First Step - Read the syllabus thoroughly and point out the topics in which you are comfortable. Now write those topics in which you are not comfortable.
Second Step - Make routine. To crack any competitive exam 6-8 hrs study is enough. Keep some points in minds while making you routine plan, these points are very hard and topics having high weightage should given maximum time and daily study at least 2 of these topics, easy topics should be studied in alternate days or you can give them 1-2 days in a week, there should be 1-2 hrs for outing or playing(outdoor games), 1 hr for your hobby, and very important 7-8 hrs sleep. These makes your routine good.
Now I will tell you how to study each subject. There are 4 basic subjects which are in the syllabus of every competitive exam. These are English, Aptitude, Reasoning, General Awareness. So you have to prepare these subjects to crack any competitive exam. Lets discuss about each of these subjects one by one.
English - English is not so tuff for English medium students but if you are Hindi medium student then you should study English 1-2 hrs daily. Vocabulary is the major topic of English Language. Give 15 min daily to vocab. Daily read and learn at least 10 words. English medium students should read vocabulary daily but they should not need to study English daily.
Aptitude - Aptitude is a major subject as this is the part of each exam and also it contains high weightage in many of the exams. The students should study Aptitude daily as maths need revision if you not revise it you will face problem in solving the problems even they are easy. So write all formulas and tricks in a notebook of each topic and revise them time to time. Student should give 2-4 hrs daily to aptitude.
Reasoning - Reasoning is very scoring part of any exam. It requires logically ability and problem solving capability. So give 2 hrs daily to the Reasoning subject.General Awareness - This is very tough section of any exam. It needs 2 hrs preparation daily. To prepare GA solve as many as question you can. Make notes of Polity, Science, and History. Geography has less weightage in exams so give less time to it. History and Polity has max. weightage so pay much attention towards them.
Other than these subjects banking exams has Banking Awareness in their syllabus. So the students preparing for banking exams should study 1hr Banking Awareness daily. In competitive exams mains part contains discriptive paper. For preparing these papers study English Grammar of 10-12th standard.
